On 12 and February 13, 2016 the second edition of the Food Anders Conference took place in Wageningen. More than 1000 people attended the two-day program with 60 workshops, theater and inspiring lectures by speakers like Jonathan Karpathios (Greek-Dutch cook, gardener, food blogger ), Jyoti Fernandes (farmer, UK Country Workers Alliance and Via Campesina ), Irene Cardoso (Professor soil science and Brazilian Alliance for Agroecology) , Jan Douwe van der Ploeg (Wageningen UR), Martin van Ittersum (Wageningen UR), Sieta of Keimpema (Dutch Dairymen Board), Niek Koning (Wageningen UR) and Frits van der Wal (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
FIAN Netherlands, TNI, Eco Ruralis, and Land Worker's Alliance participated among others.
