Eco Ruralis Takes Legal Action Against Illegal Pesticide Derogations in Romania
Eco Ruralis, a small-scale farmers' organization in Romania and a participant in the Nyéléni ECA network, has launched a legal challenge against the Romanian Ministry of Agriculture. In collaboration with the beekeeper federation ROMAPIS, Eco Ruralis is contesting the ministry’s decision to grant a derogation for the use of neonicotinoid pesticides, despite a European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruling confirming their ban due to environmental risks.

This event aims to reignite the agenda of systemic transformation, uniting forces to address the interconnected crises that threaten our planet and our communities.
